Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager

Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of all logistics activities.
This includes managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution. The Logistics Manager will also work closely with other departments to ensure that requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
What you’ll do- Operational Responsibility: Manage all aspects of site operations with a focus on safety, and operational delivery. To make decisions on storage conditions for particular items, allocates warehouse space and arrange for regular checks. Check damages and leakages.
- Co-ordinations: co-ordinate the transportation and storage of goods
- Safety & Well-being: Prioritise health & safety, ensuring to work and operate in a risk-free and supportive environment.
- Improving Operations: Take the lead in logistics, distribution, and delivery workflows. Take initiatives to enhance service quality, boost operational efficiency and scale efficiently.
- Communication: Communicating with all parties and ensuring smooth work flow.
- Problem Solving: Quickly pinpoint service issues and proactively addressing bottlenecks, constantly improving operational performance.
- Industry Experience: Experience in logistics operations
- Innovation: Ability to introduce positive changes and improvements, with clear results.
- Building Connections: Strong interpersonal skills that allow you to establish and maintain relationships within the team, wider business and with external partners.
- Knowledge-Driven: A comprehensive grasp of current logistics practices and a keen interest in keeping up with industry and tech advancements.
- Flexible: Willingness to travel and liaise with partners, stakeholders.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles and practices.
- Warehouse experience
- Other Languages-Tamil and Hindi
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work
Job Type: Full-time 37 ½ hours per week, office and warehouse based
