As a Trainee Warehouse Team Manager at Lidl, you’ll inspire and motivate your team to make sure every single product is checked, stored and then shipped in the perfect conditions we expect. You’ll make sure everyone knows that we rely on them to get the job done and stay focused even when things get busy – because things are always busy.You’ll be kept on your toes in a full-on, fast-paced environment that’s not for the faint-hearted. And you wouldn’t want it any other way.

What you'll do- Motivate and train your team to keep our standards high and our products moving
- Support your Shift and Department Managers, helping them to recruit, train and develop their teams
- Check all stock as it arrives and proactively chase up errors with our suppliers
- Coordinate stock-takes to protect our inventory, checking the results and taking necessary action
- Keep our merchandising plan and slot labels up to date
- Proactively make sure that we stay on top of Health and Safety regulations
- Supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment
- A confident leadership style with a passion for training and developing a great team
- A calm, analytical approach and a real eye for detail
- Strong multitasking skills to keep calm under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines
- Self-motivation, positivity and a focus on smashing targets
- A confident and open communication style that helps get your message across to anyone
- A full UK driving licence
- A fully expensed company car or car allowance
