Teaching Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated and nurturing team in supporting learning, progress and attainment within the classroom.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and organised with excellent communication skills and initiative. You will have the ability to develop positive relationships with children, parents / carers and colleagues and the ability to support children to develop their independence, self-confidence and social interaction.You will possess Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent).
Prendergast Vale School is an all through school, nursery to Year 11, and rated as Good by Ofsted in February 2018. It is one of the top performing mixed schools for E-Bacc in Lewisham. The school benefits from being part of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the Federation.

Hours: 35 hours a week, term time only i.e. 39 weeks, including 5 Inset Days.Salary: Scale 3 (point 5 - 6) £30,120 - £30,552 pro-rata
