- Ensuring their surgery is prepared appropriately for the days patients. Provide dental hygiene treatment in line with their approved scope of practice as per General Dental Council guidelines and in accordance with agreed patient group directive (PGD). Working collaboratively with professional colleagues and in the best interests of patients. Carrying out dental work under the direction of a registered dentist who has examined the patient and indicated in writing the course of treatment to be provided. Managing the patient appointment system as required. Accurately recording treatment on each patients electronic health records.
