Civil Drainage Design Engineer - Pertemps

The position of Civil Drainage Design Engineer in Central London offers a salary between £35,000 and £45,000, dependent on experience, and reports to the Principal Civil Engineer at a civil and structural engineering consultancy.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Collaboration : Work closely with architects, design team members, and clients on various projects.
• Project Management: Be accountable for the successful delivery of projects assigned by senior engineers.
• Technical Design :
• Develop Civils 3D drainage models and drawings.
• Produce standard AutoCAD drainage details.
• Use MicroDrainage software for designing drainage systems, perform calculations with TEDDS, and handle manual calculations.
• Plan pavement structures and concrete joint layouts.
• Conduct cut & fill assessments using Civils 3D.
• Use AutoTrack software for vehicle tracking.
• Produce SuDS strategy and prepare reports and submission packs for RIBA design stages and Building Control.

This role requires proficiency in the relevant software and hands-on experience in civil drainage design, with a collaborative and detail-oriented mindset.
