HGV 1 Driver
An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients based in Wednesbury has become available for HGV 1 drivers’ on block bookings with a view to temp to perm opportunities.
As an HGV 1 Driver you will be responsible for:
- Driving HGV class 1 vehicle
- Completing vehicle checks
- General haulage deliveries
- Ensuring loads are secure (using rachet straps)
- Completing paperwork and taking load pictures
- Using a handheld device for deliveries
To be considered for this HGV Driver role you will need:
- C+E Licence + in date CPC and Tachograph card.
- Held C+E category for 2 years (more than 1 year may be considered)
- Minimum 6 months experience
- Competent in using rachet straps
- No more than 6 points (no DD, DR, IN endorsements
- Available Monday to Friday
PAYE HGV Driver Pay Rates and benefits are as follows:
- Days - £16.00
- Nights - £17.00
- Saturdays - £18.00
- Sundays - £20.00
- Block bookings (4 weeks per block)
- Potential temp to perm
