Dismantling, inspecting, refurbishing and re-assembling industrial rotating equipment including Pumps, Gearboxes and TurbinesCarry out maintenance, repairs, and assembly of pumps and other related pumps and rotating equipment
Providing support, guidance and advice to internal & external colleagues
For the Mechanical Technician position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess the following:
IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant Engineering discipline Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND, BTEC or similar
Stable work history & experience working as in a Pump Technician, Engineer within a service workshop/centre
Strong & stable experience servicing/maintaining/repairing industrial rotating equipment pumps, gearboxes, valves, compressors, turbines etc.
Working Hours of the Mechanical Technician: 37 Hours per week working a regular day shift
Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 15:30Friday – 07:00 to 12:30
In return, the Mechanical Technician will receive:
Annual Salary: £35,739.20 £18.58 per hourHoliday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays
Annual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum – subject to company performance
Pension Scheme: 15 Combined Contribution 9 Employer / 6 Employee
Access to the onsite canteen subsidised and gymOpportunity to work frequent overtime, paid at 150
