Salary: UofG Grade 8, £49,250 - £56,921 per annum.

This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and open ended. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.

This is a great opportunity for a Tax, Treasury & Financial Reporting Project Accountant to join the University’s Finance Office.

This key role will lead the delivery of project work involving all areas within the Tax, Treasury & Financial Reporting team as requested by the Head of Tax, Treasury & Financial Reporting, providing comprehensive, effective and efficient financial management, governance, support, challenge and direction within the Tax, Treasury & Financial Reporting team

You will specifically be responsible for preparing and delivering complex tax calculations with detailed analysis and commentary. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting the University group VAT returns to ensure compliance.

You will also be responsible for preparing the consolidation workbook for the University Financial Statements to report the financial position of the complete group.

You will have responsibility for managing & developing the Tax & Treasury ACCA graduate position(s). You will manage & mentor the graduate through their professional qualification providing advice and support to best help them achieve their objectives.
