Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Haematology & Coagulation sections.
- Ensure accurate testing and analysis of blood samples.
- Maintain high standards of quality control and assurance.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to provide timely and reliable results.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the training and development of junior staff.
- Contribute to departmental audits and improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Relevant experience in Haematology and Coagulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
