Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant
Overview:
For the Supply Chain department, we are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant who will join our UK team.
The Role will be office based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire with flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.
Did you finish school, or have you already gained some work experience as an Operational Purchaser?

Responsibilities:
- Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for materials
- Managing the stock levels of the various article groups
- Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for racks
- Control hire equipment
- PPE ordering
- Indirect (Non project) orders
- Management of cylinders
- Planning transport (inbound) PARTS
- Arrange local transport (outbound)
- Total Logistic Costs reporting
- Back-up for SC country lead
Qualifications:
- Educated to at least A level preferred.
- Experienced with an ERP (BAAN) system or willingness to learn it.
- You are professional, cost-conscious, and commercial in your dealings. You are results-oriented, representative, have perseverance and are eager to learn.
- You also have good communication skills, have persuasive powers, keep an overview and are stress resistant.
