Your new roleAs a Tax Senior Manager, you will focus on delivering compliance and advisory services for personal and corporate taxes.
Your key responsibilities will require you to:
- Manage and submit personal and corporate tax return compliance cycles.
- Address client queries regarding tax issues in their business or personal affairs.
- Support the tax partner with tax planning and written advice on ad-hoc assignments.
- Assist the VFO team with tax queries related to monthly management accounts.
- Collaborate with the financial mastery partner to provide integrated tax and business advice.
- Conduct taxation health checks and pre-year-end meetings.
- Assist the Payroll Manager with payroll reviews and technical queries.
- Maintain expert-level technical tax knowledge.
- Uphold strong professional standards and ethics.
- Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Practice background.
- Qualified tax adviser (minimum ATT qualification, preferably CTA qualified) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification
- Experience of preparing or reviewing personal and corporation tax returns for individuals, single entities, and groups using appropriate technology.
- Experience of preparing basic accounts and understanding full accounts prepared by the accounts team.
- Track record of providing advice on all relevant taxes; income tax, capital gains tax, corporation tax, VAT, and stamp duty.
- Experience of leading client-facing meetings.
- Operate cloud bookkeeping systems (ideally Xero) to extract relevant information for tax return reviews and planning purposes.

- Salary £45k - £55k dependent on experience
