Lloyd Recruitment Services are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the educational development of students in a dynamic learning environment. This role is essential in fostering a positive atmosphere where students can thrive academically and socially.

- Core working hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:45 AM
- 4:00 PM; Wednesday 8:45 AM
- 4:30 PM; Friday 8:45 AM
- 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the educational and personal development of students, ensuring their welfare and safeguarding
- Work closely with teachers to provide targeted assistance to individual students or small groups
- Help maintain an organised and stimulating classroom environment
- Promote positive behaviour and support students during classroom activities and breaks
- Assist in preparing learning materials and managing classroom tasks
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents to promote a collaborative learning experience
- Participate in school policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and well-being
- Drive the school van or personal vehicle for off-site activities, as needed
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Teaching Assistant Qualification or actively pursuing a Teaching Assistant Qualification
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience working with children or young people
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a supportive environment
- Knowledge of the challenges faced by children and young people with varying abilities
