Job Description- Overseeing and delivering VAT advisory and compliance work.
- Training and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Liaising with clients and advising on VAT liability.
- Ensuring all VAT returns are completed and submitted accurately.
- Managing relationships with HMRC.
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT return and VAT refund claims.
- Conducting research on VAT issues related to various transactions.
- Participating in business development activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful VAT Assistant Manager/ Manager should have:
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in a VAT role within the Business Services industry.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of UK VAT legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
- An annual salary of approximately £50,000-£60,000 GBP.
