We are a growing national construction company supplying specialist services to the water industry, the Environment Agency, and a broad range of private clients, holding 29 framework agreements nationally.- £55,000 to £65,000 p/a

Reporting to the Bid Manager, you will develop and write Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Invitation to Tender responses across a wide range of services and values. You will be responsible for the quality of the technical aspects of each bid, ensuring the written documentation and presentations are clear, concise, and compelling.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write all technical elements of tender proposals associated with framework opportunities and one-off major projects across the UK
- Create new content as well as edit existing content, tailoring it to suit client requirements
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to extract relevant information needed to produce the best technical response
- Deliver completed written responses by agreed deadlines, escalating any issues in good time to the Group Bid Manager
- Conduct sector and client research to enhance bid responses
- Provide continuous development of the bid library
- Contribute to and participate in pre- and post-tender bid meetings with clients in pursuit of securing contracts
- Liaise with our internal marketing team for potential reuse of tender proposal content
- Attend meetings at different locations around the UK as required
- Provide regular reports on the progress of tender documentation

- Proven ability to work with others to understand, develop, and harness knowledge and best practices both inside and outside the business
- Experience in developing knowledge libraries and document management systems
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to interact with a variety of stakeholders at all levels

This is a national role, and the successful candidate can work from any one of our UK offices. Periodic UK-wide travel and occasional overnight stays will be required. You will be empowered to manage your own diary and take full ownership of your workload with a high degree of autonomy.
