  • Part time, between 4 - 25 hours per week
  • Zero hours contract
  • £11.44 per hour
  • You may be required to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and bank holidays

Our Count Me In (CMI) service is a bespoke one-to-one support program tailored to each individual’s needs. We work closely with our members, promoting choice, independence, and personal development through tailored support and meaningful activities.

The Role

As a CMI Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mild to complex needs, enabling them to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives. You’ll work flexibly across home and community settings, providing compassionate, person-centered support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support at home and in the community
  • Encourage independence by supporting daily living activities
  • Help members manage finances, shopping, cooking, and household tasks
  • Support members in accessing services, education, volunteering, and employment
  • Facilitate social inclusion, friendships, and leisure activities
  • Promote wellbeing, health, and personal development
  • Ensure dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
  • Report on progress, attend meetings, and follow safeguarding procedures
  • Work flexibly to meet members’ needs, including some evening and weekend shifts

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference, with at least 6 months of experience in care or support work. If you’re caring, flexible, and proactive, we’d love to hear from you! About you:

  • Commitment to person-centered care
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate individuals
  • Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by people with learning disabilities & autism
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management & support plans
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to travel
  • A driving licence with business insurance is desirable but not essential
