KS1 Teaching Assistant
Based in a medium sized Primary school in Caerphilly, you will be working as a Teaching Assistant within a KS1 class.
The school has a small staff base, with mixed classes from Nursery to Year 6 across 2 sites.
Situated 20 minutes away from the town centre, making the school accessible via car and public transport, the school is looking for someone willing to create long lasting working relationships with both staff and pupils.
The role is confirmed for 5 days a week, on a full-time basis. You will be working from 08:30 to 15:30 each day. You will be paid a minimum of £80 per day, with the daily rate negotiable dependant on experience.
Your daily duties will include:
- Following lesson plans set by the class teacher.
- Delivering literacy and numeracy sessions.
- Recording pupil progress and liaising with the class teacher to create lesson materials for the following day.
- Have experience working with pupils aged 3-11 with additional learning needs.
- Have worked in a Primary school or similar educational setting for at least 40 days over the last 2 years.
