MEICA Manager

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced MEICA Manager to strengthen their operations team.

MEICA Manager role:

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) aspects of projects, from initial design through to commissioning
• This role involves ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations

MEICA Manager responsibilities:

• Assist program managers with resource planning and address MEICA-related challenges
• Collaborate with program managers, and operations to establish a framework-wide MEICA procurement strategy
• Manage Project Engineers and M&E Supervisors
• Meet regularly with regional delivery leads to maintain consistency in MEICA project execution across all regions
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Ensure comprehensive risk management for Southern Water SCO procedure, including subcontractor oversight and strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Implement regular reviews and updates to address emerging risks and maintain compliance
• Provide clear guidance, establish standardized review processes, and foster collaboration with designers and the supply chain to ensure high-quality and timely design delivery

MEICA Manager requirements:

• Proven ability in guiding and managing a large team of MEICA staff
• Previous experience in running MEICA
• Extensive experience of water supply industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction contract law and, gained through experience and formal training
• Proven ability to influence internal stakeholders and guide the MEICA strategy
