Job Description:

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their team in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will provide essential support to clients, helping them to live independently and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and household tasks.
• Develop and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
• Monitor and report on clients' progress, ensuring their needs are met, and any issues are addressed promptly.
• Encourage and facilitate clients' participation in community activities and social events.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a support worker or similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable.
• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous.
