Electrical Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £70/hr Outside IR35
Location: Aldermaston
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- EPC/EPCM design experience on major infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of engineering procedures
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory codes and standards
- Able to gain SC clearance
- Working knowledge of nuclear codes and standards
Role information:
- Conduct and coordinate detailed phase of engineering work
- Set and check work related to electrical disciplines
- Analyse and design structures, systems and components
- Resolve technical issues
- Resolve conflicting design requirements and identify unsuitability of materials
- Ensure designs are cost effective and adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations and customer requirements
- Prepare estimates, forecasts and change orders
