Service Manager (XN08)

The focus of the role is to enable the development, delivery and maintenance of all access targets, cancer capacity and cancelled operations target, activity plan and maximising data capture and coding efficiencies. Working in collaboration with senior operational, medical and nursing management across the CSU, as well as commissioners, operational teams and external stakeholders, the postholder will be responsible for leading on a transformational improvement programme across the CSU, and ensuring that service benefits are realised.

The Service Manager will ensure that robust activity and financial systems are in place during the planning period to maintain business continuity. Specifically, the post holder will line manage at least one Business Manager, ensuring that operational and access targets are met, and take the lead in developing effective business processes and systems to enable the sustained delivery of key operational targets.
