Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£83.85 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assisting students with their learning and educational development
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Preparing educational materials and resources
  • Supervising students during break times and activities

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in an educational environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting
  • May involve standing or sitting for extended periods
  • Potential exposure to noise and behavioural challenges
  • May require occasional lifting or carrying of educational materials

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
