An exciting opportunity awaits an Equine Veterinary Surgeon at a thriving independent practice in Shropshire, renowned for its pioneering history since its founding in 1953 and one of the first in the country to receive RCVS hospital status!
This multi-centre practice has grown into a hub of veterinary excellence, equipped with state-of-the-art tools like surgical and therapeutic lasers, gastro/URT video scopes, advanced x-ray generators, US scanners, and an in-house lab for rapid diagnostics.
The practice prides itself on fostering a supportive and nurturing environment, building confidence and enhancing the skills of its team members. Many of the current staff have enjoyed long tenures here, a testament to the welcoming and inclusive culture.With a diverse caseload predominantly serving leisure horses, alongside show jumpers, eventers, dressage horses, and racehorses, you'll have the chance to manage cases from start to finish, enjoying clinical autonomy with the reassurance of experienced vets ready to support whenever needed.

The Rota:- 4 day week
- 1 night per week OOH
- 1:4 weekends on Call - followed by a long weekend off
- Open to flexible rotas
- 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
- Salary of £35,000 - £55,000 DOE FTE
- RCVS , VDS + BEVA membership fees covered
