An exciting opportunity has arisen to assist with the delivery of the Vaccination programme at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to support the region with Respiratory Syncytial Virus, Pertussis, Season Flu and Covid Vaccinations. We are looking for registered Nurses that would like to join our team to provide a vaccination service to pregnant women.The role will be undertaken within the Antenatal clinics across NUH based at City and QMC campus.
The post holder is required to have experience of health care and of the vaccination programme.
The post holder should have completed:
- background, history and attitudes towards maternal vaccination
- influenza, COVID-19 and pertussis vaccines
- selective vaccination programmes for neonates
- pre- and post-natal viral rash illness inadvertent vaccination
- governance considerations, challenges to achieving high vaccine coverage, horizon scanning and resources
- An understanding of the Respiratory Syncytial Virus vaccination programme for pregnant persons and willingness to undertake the appropriate training in the programme
The post holder must have or be prepared to complete: Anaphylaxis Training andAHLS

We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse Vaccinator to lead our vaccination programme in our Family Health Division within Maternity Antenatal Clinic. This role will include working some weekends to ensure we are able to offer flexibility to our pregnant population.
