Payroll Administrator
Optime is seeking a meticulous and organised Payroll Administrator to join our Head Office team in Crawley (RH10). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and excellent customer service capabilities.

What's on Offer- Salary £28,000 per annum
- Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Based in our Head Office in Crawley, West Sussex
- Please note: This is not a hybrid or work from home vacancy
- Data Collation and Entry: Gather, verify, and enter payroll data into the payroll system.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll runs.
- Compliance: Ensure payroll activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees promptly and professionally.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports as required by management.
- Support: Provide general administrative support to the Payroll Manager as needed.
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within payroll or finance.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and processing.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with payroll software is a plus.
