About this Role

Are you a Graduate who is passionate about wanting to pursue a career within teaching? Are you looking to gain some classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant ahead of a future teaching course? Would you be interested in working for a supportive school that has the potential to offer you a future platform for your education via the SCITT scheme?

If so, join us on our journey, improving and developing our caring two-form entry school, with an outstanding EYFS. The Infant and Junior schools are located on two adjoining sites in the heart of the Ottershaw community. The schools have a capacity of 460 pupils, plus a 26 full-time, on-site nursery.

We would like to employ a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Junior school for general classroom and break time support who is first and foremost the right person for Ottershaw Schools. You will also be required to work collaboratively with the class teacher to meet the needs of specific children with additional learning needs.

This is a fixed term post which expires on 31st August, 2025, with the possibility of future sponsorship at the school as a trainee teacher on the SCITT scheme.
