Your new role

You will report to the Mechanical Contracts Manager and will be responsible for supervising mechanical services on site.

Key Duties:

  • Manage daily/weekly contract tasks and supervise key activities.
  • Oversee programming and resource allocation for cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor contract progress to ensure it stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Assist in developing valuations for effective cash flow and accurate WIP.
  • Liaise with suppliers and teams for timely delivery and installation.
  • Represent the company at contract progress meetings.
  • Prepare progress and cost review information for internal meetings.
  • Promote high safety and quality standards on site.
  • Assist in preparing and handing over operation/maintenance manuals.
  • Mentor and supervise the contracts team for development.
  • Challenge and improve current systems.
  • Assess team performance and address issues or training needs.
  • Encourage communication and maintain positive working relationships
What you'll need to succeed
  • NVQ/C&G Plumbing & Heating Qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years of mechanical site supervision experience.
  • Willing to work away on GB projects 4/5 days per week
  • Experience mentoring other operatives and apprentices.
