Locations: 1 x HMP Forest Bank
Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary Range: £27,449.52- £31,529.41 (pro rata for part time hours)

CGL’s Prison Drug and Alcohol Recovery service provides a range of evidence-based interventions for those experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol that enables and empowers individuals to change, grow and live whilst promoting a focus on recovery and independence.

This includes harm minimisation, case management, psychosocial interventions, alternative therapies, diversionary activities, peer support and release planning. The DARS service works in partnership with commissioners, Prison Health partners and Prison establishments to achieve the best possible outcomes for the men in our care.

Responsibilities:

The post holder is expected to work closely with the DARS and management team alongside Spectrum community health ensuring we deliver an effective and innovative service delivery.

There will also be a need to establish strong working relationships with other key stakeholders and providers within the prison establishment to ensure effective and robust pathways are in place and holistic packages of care are adhered to for service users.

The role requires effective working to a high quality, aspirational recovery service tailored to meet the needs of large, busy local prisons and through-the gate services.

CGL are committed to ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults, and all applicants will be required to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practices. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and HMPPS security clearance.
