Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to take on more responsibility in a primary school setting? Teaching Personnel is seeking qualified and passionate HLTAs to work in primary schools across Huddersfield.
About the Role:
- Lead whole-class teaching in the absence of a teacher
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils in EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Assist with lesson planning and classroom management
- Support pupils with SEN, EAL, and additional learning needs
- Work closely with teachers to enhance learning outcomes
About You:
- Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent experience
- Have experience leading lessons and supporting whole-class teaching
- Be confident in supporting pupils with varying learning needs
- Have strong behaviour management and organisational skills
- Hold an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)
