Care Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to assist a 29-year-old gentleman in Tamworth with daily activities. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and dysphasia. The gentleman, who is registered blind and has limited mobility, requires guidance to mobilise.

The property is adapted with specialised equipment to ensure comfort and accessibility. You will work closely with the gentleman, his family and dog, assisting with community activities, household tasks, and becoming part of his daily routine.

The shift pattern is Friday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, including sleep-in duties, with premium pay rates available.

Requirements
  • At least 1 years care experience
  • A driver (to be able to drive his mobility van)
  • Epilepsy, cerebral palsy and dysphasia experience
Benefits
