Are you a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled DT Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Thirsk.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across all aspects of Design & Technology, including: ✅ Resistant Materials & Product Design
✅ Textiles✅ Food Technology
This is a full-time role with planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities. You will be expected to inspire students, support their progress, and contribute to the wider DT department.
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent✔️ Experience teaching DT across KS3 and KS4
✔️ Strong subject knowledge in a range of DT disciplines
✔️ Passion for hands-on learning and creative problem-solving
✔️ Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
