As a Home Care Assistant / Carer / Care Worker in Gateshead, you will provide person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain or regain their health, well-being, and independence.
Areas covered: Gateshead, Felling, Heworth, and Pelaw
Shifts or hours available:
7am-3pm3pm-11pm.
4/3 shift pattern with alternate weekends
Full-time, part-time, night, and weekend shifts to suit your lifestyle.

Whether you have previous experience as a paid carer or caring for a loved one, maybe worked in retail or hospitality or other client facing role, or are simply looking to start a new career, we can provide you with comprehensive training to develop your skills and become a confident Hales Care Assistant.

The Care Assistant Role
Supporting individuals with their personal care routines including washing, dressing, and attending to toileting needsEnsuring service users have adequate grocery supplies
Assisting individuals in taking their medication
Preparing warm and nourishing meals
Helping with light domestic tasks and other care needs
Providing a valuable companionship lifeline to individuals

Previous experience in care, retail, hospitality or other service industry is welcome but not essential.
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle required.
