Tasks- Fabricate and weld a range of metal components for structural steel and architectural metalwork projects.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Use various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG, to join metals and materials as required.
- Operate and maintain fabrication machinery, tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets the company’s standards and client specifications.
- Assist with the assembly and installation of metal structures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, preferably in structural steel and architectural metalwork.
- Competence in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of and commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace.
- Competitive hourly rate of £15 (PAYE) plus holiday pay.
