Cleaning Team Leader (Maternity Cover)
LOCATION: The Dolphin Centre, Poole
SALARY: £12.55 per hour
This position is 4 on 4 off. Maternity Cover 42 hours per week
ABM UK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Team Leader to join our team at The Dolphin Centre in Poole. As a Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of the shopping centre and leading a team of Cleaning Operatives.
In this role, you will delegate tasks to the cleaning operatives, provide training and refresher training as needed, and proactively address any cleaning defects or issues on the shop floor. You will also be responsible for completing daily health and safety check paperwork and other training paperwork.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a good understanding of both verbal and written English, as well as some background in leadership. Flexibility to work overtime as needed and COSHH awareness are also essential requirements for this role.
Desirable qualifications include at least 1 year of supervisory experience in the cleaning industry and the IOSH - Managing Safely certification.

Person Specification:
- Must have good understanding of both verbal and written English
- Flexible to operational requirements that might include overtime to cover leave and sickness.
- Understand and experience of COSHH regulations
- Must be computer literate and able to process timesheets and stock ordering software
- Experience of stock control
