We are currently recruiting for two permanent experienced FLT Drivers with a valid Bendi Licence to join a reputable client in Leyland. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently within a warehouse and production environment, ensuring smooth materials handling to support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate Bendi Forklift Trucks (FLT) in a busy warehouse setting.
- Load and unload goods and materials from delivery vehicles.
- Move stock to designated storage areas and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Ensure that stock is handled carefully to prevent damage and maintain product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement, including materials received and dispatched.
- Perform regular safety checks and report any faults or issues with equipment.
- Always adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, such as picking and packing when required.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Valid Bendi Forklift Licence (essential).
- Previous experience working as a FLT driver within a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual tasks, such as lifting and moving stock.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude to work.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (considering these roles are set day shifts and Monday to Friday hours)
