As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in building organisational capability, enhancing workforce performance, and enabling employees to thrive. Based in central Birmingham.

Job Description

As a HR Business Partner, you'll work closely with leaders to develop and implement people-focused solutions that enhance performance, culture, and talent development. You'll support strategic workforce planning, manage complex employee relations issues, and contribute to transformational change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support managers in driving performance, leadership, and organisational culture.
  • Deliver risk-based, value-added HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead on organisational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Advise and mentor on complex ER cases, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Use HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and mentor Assistant Business Partners and other HR professionals in the team.
  • Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture.
The Successful Applicant
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) with a strong track record in strategic HR business partnering.
  • Proven expertise in employment law, ER, and change management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with HR metrics, data analysis, and workforce planning to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong coaching, mediation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of organisational culture, succession planning, and talent development strategies.

Alongside your base salary of £45,000 - £50,000, Solicitors Regulation Authority will provide the following benefits:

  • 25 days, rising to 27 days after 2 years and 30 days after 5 years.
