About the Job
We have a fantastic, brand-new opportunity for a credible, collaborative, people manager with a manufacturing background, to lead our Plastics Packaging department. This fast-paced department plays a key part in the manufacturing process by packing the best fantasy miniatures in the world.
Thriving on creating, maintaining, and improving processes to ensure the job gets done, and that every opportunity to improve is taken, you will manage the Cell Managers and teams that pack Games Workshops plastic miniatures and components.
Playing a key role in the successful manufacturing operation by ensuring that all areas have clear plans to efficiently pack the right products at the right time, you will focus on producing, analysing, and presenting accurate Management Information data, budget information and capital plans.You must be comfortable working under tight deadlines and delivering results without compromising accuracy.
Your keen attention to detail and ability to navigate complex situations with integrity will ensure that we maintain the highest standards in all aspects of our operations. You will be the type of person who has a thirst and desire to accept nothing less than the very best to build high performance teams that are positive.
Your ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels, to expedite processes and drive projects forward with urgency, coupled with a strong continuous improvement mindset will make you successful in this key role.
If you are highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities, coupled with the ability to develop and implement meaningful KPI's within manufacturing this could be the role for you.
Working hours will be 37.5hrs a week, Monday - Friday.
