Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Assessor/Skills Coach to join the expanding NVQ division, working remotely with clients nationwide to deliver NVQs in trades, supervision, and construction management.
Key Responsibilities of the Trainer/Assessor - Construction Management:- Prepare, administer, and assess NVQ candidates, offering comprehensive support throughout their learning journey
- Support learners within Construction Programmes, including and Level 3 in Construction Site Supervision and NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management
- Work collaboratively with Site Managers and clients to track and support candidates’ progress
- Conduct regular reviews of candidate progress, assist with action planning, and guide learning through an e-portfolio system
- Participate in assessment planning, schemes of assessment, and standardisation meetings
- Liaise closely with NVQ administration, Plant NVQ, and Apprenticeship teams
- Guide candidates in gathering required NVQ evidence, both remotely and on-site
- Provide candidates with advice, guidance, and information on learning progression and additional qualifications
- Vocational competence in Construction Site Management
- Ideally hold a Management qualification, with strong vocational skills in Construction management
- Experience with both face-to-face and remote teaching and coaching is required
- Hands-on approach with the ability to engage learners in workshops, one-on-one coaching, and regular feedback
- Assessor qualifications such as TAQA or CAVA )
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple learners and adapt to individual needs
- A collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to a close-knit team that values innovation and success
- Full, clean driving licence required for occasional UK travel
