The post holder will be required to provide health care placements for nursing and AHP students using virtual technology and processes by exploring new and innovative ways of delivering and facilitating high quality learning experiences for students.They will be expected to work collaboratively with Higher education Institutes to makes sure that the simulated learning programmes meet the proficiency set out in the students curriculum. To deliver the programmes the post holder will also be working closely with subject experts and clinical educators across all areas of clinical practice to deliver the programme requirements.
Main duties of the job
To develop and facilitate simulation programmes aligned towards students proficiency by liaising with relevant specialist educators to deliver the sessions. Ensure and monitor student attendance and the smooth running of the virtual sessions whilst creating an environment where students can develop their decision making skills and promote theory into practice.Work closely with the Strive simulation team and specialist practitioners to create new and exciting interactive student placement experiences.

- Extensive current clinical experience
Qualifications

- Assessor qualification
- Teaching qualification
- Leadership qualification
Knowledge
Essential criteria- Knowledge of current issues and legislation effecting education in healthcare.
- In-depth knowledge of the NMC standards of Education (2019) High level for commitment and passion for education and student learning.
- Demonstrate evidence of teaching and supporting students in practice.
- Experience of assessment in practice.
- Excellent communication skills Negotiation and influencing skills IT skills.
- Effective time management, and presentation skills.
