Main duties of the job

By joining Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, you’llbecome part of a dedicated team covering the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Theatres whilst supporting our Colorectal MDT.

We’re looking for Scrub Practitioners who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred surgical care, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and excited to embrace new challenges.

As a valued team member, you’ll also play a crucial role in supporting and mentoring future healthcare professionals, helping shape the next generation of theatre experts.

As a qualified practitioner you would be expected to contribute to their development and support.

You must be a registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with scrub experience in obstetrics, gynaecology or colorectal surgery ready to work with a motivated, enthusiastic team
