Position Overview:
As a Senior Consultant - Hybrid HTA, you will play a critical role in delivering strategic and technical expertise on HTA submissions, evidence synthesis, and payer engagement. You will work closely with clients to support their global and local HTA needs, ensuring optimal access to healthcare technologies across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage HTA projects, including the development of value dossiers, economic models, and systematic literature reviews.
- Provide strategic guidance on HTA submissions to national bodies such as NICE, CADTH, HAS, IQWiG, PBAC, and other global agencies.
- Conduct and oversee evidence synthesis, meta-analysis, and indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs).
- Develop and review cost-effectiveness and budget impact models to support pricing and reimbursement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including health economists, medical writers, and market access specialists, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Engage with clients to understand their HTA needs, provide expert advice, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor HTA trends, policies, and regulations to ensure clients receive up-to-date strategic insights.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or PhD in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HTA, HEOR, or market access consulting, preferably within a consultancy or pharmaceutical company.
- Strong knowledge of HTA methodologies, economic modeling, and payer decision-making processes.
- Experience with global HTA submissions, including NICE, CADTH, PBAC, and EU HTA bodies.
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, STATA, SAS) and health economic modeling tools (Excel-based models, TreeAge, R, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
- Strong project management and client engagement skills, with a track record of leading multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating with global teams.
