The NewburyCommunityOlder Adult Mental Health Service is a multi-disciplinaryservicecomprisedofthe Community Mental Health Team, Home TreatmentTeamand the Memory ClinicService. All teams andmembers workclosely togetherto offerhigh standardsof specialistassessment, diagnosisand treatmentforolderadultsand people with cognitive impairmentand/ordementiaof any agein the community setting.
We would encourageapplications fromclinicianswhoare passionate aboutworking withOlder Adultsandthatwishtodevelopfurtherexpertise/specialiseinthearea ofMemory Assessment.
Working Hours Monday to Friday 9-5pm- The post holder willundertakecomprehensive assessmentsand reviewsin a range ofsettingsincluding thepatient’shome.
- Toidentifyand signpost to a range ofhealth, social and voluntary agencies whichmayassistand improve the care of individuals and their families.
- Attend weeklyMemory Clinic supervision.
- Take part inServiceDevelopmentboth within the Memory Clinic and the wider team.
- Work closely with our wider teamand offer support to other areas of the service whencapacityallows.
- Working as a duty nurse on a Rota Basis.
Newbury Community Mental Health– Memory Clinic Service is open Monday – Friday 9am to5pm.
