Engagement Specialist
The engagement tutor will work with students on a one-to-one basis, either in-person or through online platforms. The working hours will be determined based on the availability of the tutor and the students. The tutor will be responsible for creating a conducive learning environment and ensuring the safety and well-being of the students during the sessions.
Job Duties:
- Provide one-to-one tuition sessions to students
- Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Build strong rapport with students and create a positive learning environment
- Identify and adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement strategies to motivate and engage students
- Encourage student participation and active learning during sessions
- Identify and address any learning difficulties or barriers to engagement
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders to support student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant subject
- Experience in tutoring or teaching
- Ability to work one-to-one with students
Other suitable Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant (TA) PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience in delivering tuition to students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Tuition experience
- Ability to work one-to-one with students
- Hard working and dedicated
- Resilient and able to adapt to different student needs
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions
- Provide constructive feedback to students
