Hourly rate £6.40p/h - £11.44p/h
Hours: 4 -5 days on site per week, possibly 1 day at WSC in Bury St Edmunds (to be confirmed)Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Our client based in Haverhill is looking for an Apprentice Production Engineer with an interest in engineering to join their team on a two year apprenticeship learning different roles within an engineering environment including Mig/Tig welding.
As Apprentice Production Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Learning how to Mig,Tig weld various materials
- Assisting Punch/Laser/Press Operator and learn how to set up and operate the different machines
- Assisting in the machine shop drilling, tapping, countersinking, milling, turning, inserting and sawing
- Assisting the Security Door Team with assembly, wrapping and packing
- Assist in the Security Department with engraving, stud welding, and various assembly duties
- Additional duties as required.
An ideal candidate for the Apprentice Production Engineer will have:
- An interest in engineering
- The drive to commit to an apprenticeship
- Team player mentality.
