Gi Group is working in partnership with one of the world's leading online retailers, which has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as a self-employed delivery driver.
Full training provided: 2-day introduction, 2 days out with a lead driver and built-in training to a total of 12 days.
Delivery Driver responsibilities:- You will be required to drive a van, delivering parcels to multiple locations within your assigned area. Each route typically includes up to 120 deliveries.
- Load vans and deliver packages, by driving, stepping in and out of the vehicle safely.
- Use GPS system to make deliveries.
- Full UK Driving License (held for at least 1 year)
- Must be 18+ years old for insurance purposes.
- Experience in driving roles is not required.
- A maximum of 6 points on your licence (No IN, DR, DG or TT codes)
- Must complete a DBS check and drug/alcohol test paid for by us!
- We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
- Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 23kgs)
- Pay rate - £117 per day with weekly pay plus performance-based bonuses and overtime available
- Working up to 9 hours a day
- Full time working and part time work available as well with minimum of 2 days per week
- Support: Setup assistance if you are not already self-employed
