Temporary Finance Officer

Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: Ongoing basis
Hourly Rate: up to £16.00 per hour depending on experience
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 9-5pm
Location: City Centre based, offering hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office
Duties:
- Accounts Payable: Post supplier invoices, ensure payment authorisations, resolve discrepancies, and manage reimbursements. Advise the Finance Manager on depreciation's and prepayments for accurate posting. Identify monthly payments for potential accruals
- Execute payment runs, create bank payments, and prepare authorisation reports
- Accounts Receivable: Reconcile income with fundraising efforts and provide income reports
- Complete all bank reconciliations
- Produce monthly and ad hoc reports for management, including expenditure reports for funders
- Post monthly depreciation journals as supplied by the Finance Manager
- Prepare updates on funds received and related purchases
- Prepare trial balance and balance sheet reconciliations
- Generate QuickBooks reports for the Finance Manager in preparation for monthly management accounts
- Support the Finance Manager in monthly management accounts and budgeting processes
