Customer Service Representative (French Speaking)

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service Representative to join their customer service and inside sales team based in Groby, Leicester. This is a busy, office‑based role supporting customers via phone, email and online channels within an international business.

The Role
You will support order entry, inside sales and administrative activities, acting as a key pre‑ and after‑sales contact point. The role focuses on delivering a high standard of service while coordinating effectively with internal teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics and Engineering.
⭐ For French‑speaking roles, excellent written and spoken French is essential, alongside strong English skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide office‑based phone, email and web support to sales teams, distributors, dealers, direct customers and OEMs
- Respond to queries regarding order status, lead times, shipments, returns and invoicing
- Manage allocated key accounts and geographic regions, with support across other regions as required
- Liaise with Supply Chain, Logistics and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met
- Resolve invoicing and order issues accurately and efficiently
- Process sales orders, return authorisations, invoices, customer data and agreements with attention to detail
- Maintain Customer Master Data and complete relevant security checks
- Use customer portals for order and account management
- Participate in regular customer calls and ad‑hoc process improvement projects
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and export control regulations
- Previous office‑based customer service experience, including phone and email support
- French & English roles: Fluent written and spoken French plus strong English
- English‑only roles: Strong written and spoken English
- Experience in order processing, customer administration or internal sales support is advantageous
- Customer service experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Good MS Office skills
- SAP experience is advantageous but not essential
- A team‑focused approach with clear communication skills
