An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.

• The role is that of a Housing Support Worker; this is initially a three-month interim contract covering sickness.
• This is a full-time role; 35 hours a week.
• Working pattern is 3 week rolling rota of 9-5pm 11am -7pm and 2-10pm some weekends
• Pay rate for this role is £14.00 per hour on PAYE OR £17.85 Umbrella.
• The role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
• Full UK Driver's license and access to a vehicle is essential.
• The role is based in Hereford.

• In your role as a Housing Support Worker, you will supporting clients with money management including household bills/ management of income/ claiming benefits/ accessing specialist debt advice/ accessing training and employment / dealing with financial abuse.
• As a Housing Support Worker, you will be supporting clients to obtain or maintain accommodation or where homelessness is inevitable, to support them in securing and maintaining suitable alternative accommodation.
• You assess the client's need for individual support visits within your caseload and prioritise within the limits of support time available.
• You will provide advice and support to encourage clients to access education, training and work opportunities.
• Furthermore, as a Housing Support Worker, you will support clients to engage with the communities they live in which includes reducing disputes with neighbours and reducing anti-social behaviour.
