You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click Apply now to view in Trac The Principal Duties of the job are as follows: To prepare food and beverages in accordance with Health Board policy, procedures and legislative requirements; To assist nursing staff with meal service at ward level; To serve beverages at ward level in accordance with patient requests; To serve staff and customers in the dining room providing a professional and polite service; To operate the cash register accurately; To ensure all catering areas are cleaned in accordance with daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
In the event of a major incident or to support adverse weather or other Facilities services contingency, the post holder may be required to be called in outside of normal working hours to support the Facilities Services in the contingency actions when and where required.The duties of this post are not inflexible or exhaustive and will be reviewed periodically and may be changed to be consistent with the grading of the post as the organisation or department develops and following consultation with the post holder.
