Job descriptionWe are looking for a committed, hard working and experienced registered manager for our new children's care home located in the East London Area
The candidate must have; - Level 5 in Leadership and Management- Have a minimum of one year experience in working with young people with complex needs within a care home setting.
- To monitor the services provided and finding opportunities for positive change.
- Have a can do attitude and spread positivity across the team.
- Be able to manage challenging situations in a calm manner and lead by example.
- Be able to multi task and prioritise workload in order to meet stringent deadline.
- Be able to construct relevant plans for the young people for staff to follow/manage and be able to monitor this carefully.
- To be able to communicate with professionals including OFSTED and represent the company and the ethos of the home.
- To be able to delegate to the management and ensure the tasks are completed to a high standard.
As a Registered Manager you will be registered with OFSTED, it will be imperative that the home meets the children's home regulations and the OFSTED Quality Standards and that as the manager you ensure a high level of compliance against these standards.
You will lead the whole team in ensuring a service that delivers exceptional care and support and that creates and delivers positive outcomes for the young people.You will be required to carry out a range of duties within your role.
