Lead EU Expansion Strategist, Amazon Freight (Hiring Immediately)

business. As a SR Program Manager, you’ll be leading the geography expansions
for Amazon Freight EU, an essential part of innovating and transforming our
processes. You’ll be taking the lead on the design and launch of new geos for
our customers. This is your opportunity to have a big impact on some of the

This position is based out of our London Corporate Office, with the
flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s
current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about

Key job responsibilities
  • Launch Amazon Freight to new geographies to unlock total addressable
opportunity
  • Create Go to Market strategy for unlock new geography potential and success
plan
  • Launch programmes, monitor performance metrics, and report on the status of
key objectives that affect deliverables
  • Use data to understand operational challenges and create continuous
improvement initiatives
  • Work with a variety of other Amazon departments to identify and leverage
best practices
  • Within a programme environment, lead a multidisciplinary team in overcoming
challenges and drive progress
  • Manage stakeholders and internal processes, and define standards
A day in the life
As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our
operations. You’ll work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to
understand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well as
sharing your own expertise. Together, you’ll identify exciting new
opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing their

implementation.

You’ll encourage and support your teams and colleagues to meet important
deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could do

things better. Your work will be integral to your team’s success.

About the team

### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree
  • Experience in Program Management and delivering complex projects
  • Experience in working with cross functional and executive stakeholders
  • Data analytics to evaluate and define strategic initiatives
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence
business decisions
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) andor
SQL in a professional environment
  • Relevant experience driving end to end delivery, and communicating results

to senior leadership

### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Masters Degree (MBA)
  • Experience in launching organizations to new geographies (preferably EU)
  • Experience in creating go to market strategy to new launches
  • Experience in working with Tax, legal, compliance domain for understanding
EU launch space
  • Experience in transportation organization
